Saturday February 1st is the perfect day to make this announcement as we are coming off Catholic Schools Week which always seems to ignite an array of emotions for me and my family. This past week triggered something in me beyond the tears of trying to find a “dress your best” outfit within school uniform code. It actually uplifted my soul and energized me to take action and publicly share something I’ve been working on for quite some time now...
So, here it goes...
As a mom of 4, it’s not easy to focus or even really think about what I want to do for myself or anything else outside of the constant daily chaos that forces me to be reactive to life. Between my 8 and 10 year olds’ activities to the nonstop demands of my “littles” who are 3 and 1; there is absolutely no “me time” on this hot mess express we board daily. I am the conductor and pretty much every second is spent dropping the ball, forgetting what I’m supposed to be doing and straight up winging it on this crazy train ride of life we live. So, for me to get a spare minute for myself to reflect on a bigger picture plan or to step outside of my daily survival routine, I would have to say that this is nothing short of miracle.
Therefore, I am very proud that I was able to get my life in order just enough to write this post and announce my passion project known as The Celebrate Company.
There are many reasons why I am super excited about The Celebrate Company; but more than anything The Celebrate Company is a reflection of who I am: a girl who has gone through some really hard times, dealt with huge self-doubt, uncertainty and insecurities. I am the underdog, the 2nd place finisher, the hot mess, and the epic fails. I have struggled with mental illness, poor healthcare and even the judicial system. I have felt the pressures and the stigma of society.
But, if I learned anything from my struggles it’s to hold on and focus on the good even during the darkest times. I created The Celebrate Company to remind myself and others of the Cinderella stories, the comeback queens, the backs against the walls that the defy the odds, rise up to the challenges and never, never, never give up. The Celebrate Company empowers everyone to accept our beautiful imperfections and to love ourselves and others anyway.
At the heart of The Celebrate Company and in the soul of who I am, it all comes down to celebrations. Because, at the end of the day, I’m just a girl who loves to celebrate life and party with the people I love!
I created The Celebrate Company to make it simple, easy and fun for anyone to host a party so that everyone can experience the joy, laughter and excitement of celebrating life together!
I believe this is what truly matters: celebrating the good, forgetting the bad and loving one another wholeheartedly!
And, because I have such a passion for mental health I want to make sure The Celebrate Company supports the lives affected by mental illness.
So, how does it work?
The concept is pretty simple: buy a celebration package and support the cause. Funds will be used to start a nonprofit for psychiatric patient’s rights laws and advocacy.
So, let’s get this thing started! And, what better way to kick things off than with the celebration of LOVE???
My good friend, Lindsey Rhoades has created an amazing Valentine’s Day Celebration package that includes everything you need for a stay-at-home Valentine’s Date Night: from a banner, a framed sign, cupcake toppers, water bottle and napkin holders, kids activity placements, a recipe for love menu card and paper plates and napkins. This box is for real the cutest thing ever!!!
All you need to do to complete the night is order a pizza or do my family’s favorite Valentine’s Day tradition: grab dough from a local pizza shop and make the pizzas yourself! The theme is “I Love You To Pizzas” and the box will guarantee a simple, easy good time!
We have a lofty goal of selling 50 preassembled boxes before Valentine’s Day and we are selling these first 50 boxes for only $25! I am asking friends and family to please to spread the word about The Celebrate Company and my mission!
Please check out the website, follow us on Instagram, share this post, and message me with any questions or if you want a box!
I’ll take preorders anytime and you don’t owe me anything until I deliver the box to you!
Thanks so much for the love and support!
Let’s do this! 👊
